Daniel Brown, Founder

Since 1978, Daniel Brown has worked professionally in the field of behavioral services, including administrative positions with two of the premier hospital-based behavioral services programs in Northwest Ohio. Mr. Brown has provided a range of consultative services for hundreds of organizations (private/ public) throughout the United States. Mr. Brown is a past Trustee of the Ohio Alcohol Counselor’s Credentialing Board (Governor’s Appointment) and past President of the Ohio Chapter of National Association of Addiction Treatment Programs. Mr. Brown speaks from practical experience as a consultant and an advisor. Mr. Brown shares his insights and experiences to assist organizations towards transforming their organization towards optimal performance. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement, a Bachelor of Science Degree (Criminal Justice) and a Master’s Degree in Education. Additionally, Mr. Brown has been a featured seminar leader, facilitator, and instructed college level courses.

Rhonda Weber, President

Ms. Weber assumes primary responsibility for all Brown Consulting contracts and services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toledo in English / Speech Communications (‘94), and holds a license as an ordained minister from Word of Faith School of Ministry, Southfield, Michigan (‘03). Prior to her position at Brown Consulting, Ltd., Ms. Weber served in the United States Marine Corp as a Communications Operator and held a top secret clearance. With over 25+ years working as an Administrator, she has held various management and marketing positions in the private, public, non-profit and for-profit sectors and has sat on several Boards of Directors for non-profit/for-profit organizations. Ms. Weber has over fourteen years of direct Behavioral Services experience with an array of special projects, start-up projects, analysis, regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, operations management, human resource and marketing experience and has won recognition from industry media for advertisement design.

Ross Calvin, (Retired / Partner)

Mr. Calvin has served as the Vice President of Consulting Services with logistical oversight of all consulting projects for the past 18 years and has been a member of Brown Consulting’s Executive Team since 1999. Mr. Calvin earned his Bachelor’s (’78), Master’s in Education (’80) and Educational Specialist (’81) degrees from Kent State University in Counseling Psychology. He has been independently licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement (LPCC-S) in the State of Ohio since 1992. Mr. Calvin has over 30 years of clinical experience as a practicing clinician with a specialization in family therapy and has over 20 years of direct behavioral healthcare management experience administrating mental health and addiction outpatient, residential, forensic, and other behavioral healthcare levels of care and programming. Mr. Calvin has conducted a full range of consultative services including accreditation preparation and ongoing regulatory compliance, program planning / development and evaluation, performance improvement, staff development services/trainings, completion of organizational situation analysis’ / assessments, and facilitation of organizational strategic planning to a wide variety of for-profit and not-for-profit behavioral health organizations within the United States and internationally.  Mr. Calvin retired at the end of December, 2021.

Alyssa Putman, Lead Consultant

Mrs. Putman earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology, Master’s in Healthcare Administration and Master’s in Business Administration degrees from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. Mrs. Putman has over 8 years of operational management experience in behavioral healthcare including administrating and supervising mental health and addiction services in both the inpatient and outpatient levels of care. Mrs. Putman has also been involved and responsible for start-up behavioral health programs in additional to expansion of program size and service lines for both distinct part units and freestanding psychiatric units. Mrs. Putmanhas had direct oversight and responsibilities for accreditation preparation and ongoing regulatory compliance with CMS, TJC, DNV, HFAP, CARF and various state licensure bodies, program planning and development, performance improvement, staff development, completion of organizational assessments,feasibility analysis, and facilitation of organizational strategic planning.

David Galbraith, Chief Financial Officer

Since 1991, Mr. Galbraith has been the Chief Financial Officer of Brown Consulting, Ltd. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University. Mr. Galbraith has nine years of experience as a Fiscal Director in the management and supervision of Finance Departments, four years’ experience in conducting internal audits in for-profit settings, and (inactive) CPA certification in Ohio/Pennsylvania.

Joe Dildine, Consultant

Mr. Dildine has over 30 years of managerial and supervisory experience in both clinical and non-clinical environments. His experience includes strategic planning, program development and evaluation, and operations management in both residential and outpatient settings. He is an independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement (LPCC-S) in the State of Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from the University of Maryland and Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University.

Deanna England, Consultant

Ms. England has over 10 years of experience in the clinical field, specializing in behavioral health and substance use disorders in outpatient, residential, and correctional settings. Her experience includes development of new programs and PI of current programs, clinical supervision, and on-boarding and ongoing training of staff. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Clinical Supervisor designation (LICDC-CS) in the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Organizational Communication from The Ohio State University, and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University.

Karen R. Trail, Consultant

Mrs. Trail has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health community with over fourteen years as a mental health clinician. She holds a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Toledo (2000) and Licensed Social Worker since 2001. Karen holds a Masters in Counseling from Spring Arbor University (2006) and has worked in the criminal justice system for over nineteen years. She currently serves as Chief Probation Officer in the Oregon Probation Department.
